Korner’s Folly: The Strangest House in America!

George Taylor, blogger and YouTuber at ImagiNERDing, takes us on a tour of the historic Korner’s Folly house in Kernersville, NC.

Disney theme park fans are familiar with the phrase from the Haunted Mansion: “This chamber has no windows and no doors.” But what about a house that has lots of windows and lots of doors, but none of them are the same size?

Well, Korner’s Folly has been called the strangest house in America, and with good reason! Check out the video tour of this historic Kernersville home.

Touring the home takes about an hour and there are a lot of stairs, so wear some comfortable shoes. You buy your tickets at the gift shop where there’s a short introductory video. The tour is self-guided with informational sheets in each room that detail the room, the furnishings and the details. As a reminder, you are encouraged to take photos, but no filming is allowed inside the house.

Check out the website to see the hours of operation and other information about the historic house: http://www.kornersfolly.org
